Time Chart
In today’s lesson I want to introduce you to a necessary
study tool – The
Time Chart. It
outlines what I have used over these many years to help people better understand
God’s purpose for the ages.
First, open Lesson 13-Time Chart and print the page. Once
that is done, look it over carefully. If you have a color printer, you will
notice it is color coded in order to better see and understand the critical
changes. If you do not have a color
printer I suggest you view it on screen and then highlight your printed page
with the same colors you see on the screen, or copy it to disk and take it to
Kinko’s. The colors represent:
Dark Blue:
Frozen water before God’s Throne
Orange:
Satan
Light Blue:
Prophecy and all things pertaining to the Jew and the coming King
Red:
Mystery and all things pertaining to Gentiles and The Church the Body of
Christ
Looking left to right, the first thing you will notice is a
rectangular box with the heading – Eternity Past. Underneath that heading are:
2.
Old Heaven
3.
Frozen Water
4.
GAP
5.
Firmament (Heaven)
6.
Old Earth
7.
Satan’s First Fall
Do not proceed until you have located all seven.
We will study all of these
headings in detail. You will not be
able to comprehend the over-all purpose of God until you fully understand the
beginning, and that is all right here in this segment called – Eternity past.
Now I want you to go to the far
right side of the chart and locate another rectangular box with the heading –
Eternity Future. Underneath that heading are:
1.
God’s Throne
2.
The Church the Body of Christ
3.
New Heaven
4.
Frozen Water
5.
Ages to Come
6.
Dispensation of the Fullness of Times
7.
New Jerusalem
8.
Mount Zion
9.
New Earth
10.
Great Gulf
11.
Lake of Fire
Do not move on until you have located all eleven items.
It is here that you will find all
the promises of God fulfilled. Before you can comprehend fully all that is
outlined here, you will need to understand all that transpired before it.
The content between Eternity Past
and Eternity Future is divided into three sections, but only two topics:
Prophecy & Mystery. We studied
those topics in Lessons 4-6. You might want to review those again.
In the first section of prophecy (It is before the large red area) you
will find the following:
1.
First Coming of Christ the King (Shown at the top but the arrow points to
the time of His birth, which is located in the four Gospels.)
2.
Time Past
3.
Predicting – King & Kingdom (This is found in the Old Testament.)
4.
Presenting – King & Kingdom (This is found in Matthew – John)
5.
A section in red quoting Ephesians 1: 4 (This is part of the Mystery that
was kept secret throughout the Old Testament and Matthew – John)
6.
The word Prophecy and underneath that
8. The second section titled Transitional (The Book of
Acts)
Make sure you have identified each
topic before moving on.
This section deals primarily with
the Nation of Israel, the Law of Moses, the promise of a Messiah, the first
coming of the Messiah, the training of the 12 apostles and the death burial and
resurrection of Christ.
The next Section (in Red)
begins with:
1.
But now
2.
Israel – Lo-Ami
3.
The Body of Christ
4.
Mystery
5.
Dispensation of Grace
6.
Age of Grace
This section is most important for
people living today. In the Books
Romans through Philemon is the plan of God for salvation and life after death.
It is the most misunderstood section of the Bible, and yet it is the most
important section in the Bible, for in these books the gospel of the grace of
God is introduced.
The second section of
Prophecy:
1.
Restitution & Refreshing
2.
The Wrath to come
3.
Kingdom Established
4.
The word Prophecy, and underneath that:
a.
Transition – the Book of Hebrews
b.
Tribulation
c.
Millennial Reign (Tribulation and the 1000 year millennial reign are
detailed in James – Revelation.
d.
Judgment
5.
Satan’s 2nd fall
6.
Satan bound 1000 years in the Bottomless pit
7.
Satan’s 3rd fall
Locate all the items listed. People are so confused about this section, most fear reading
about it. They should not.
Some of you will be surprised to find to whom it is written.
